Off to the Rite :: RoF

“Lets go!” Sozen goaned as the camp begun to wake up. “We’re almost done with this rite!”

Skye groggily sat up in her sleeping bag. It was not the first time she had done the rite of fortitude, but Sozen was definitely more excited than either her or Calcifer at this point. Skye rubbed the sleep out of her eyes and looked over to the sleeping form of Calcifer. Despite the cold temperatures, the Felitaur male was not wearing his jacket. Obviously it was only for formalities for him.

Skye leaned over and tapped on his foot as he breathed a soft, “I’m awake,” before pushing himself to a sit.

“We can eat on the way!” Sozen said, hauling Bertolli’s saddle over. Skye looked over and rose her eyebrows. She had already saddled Tabasco up for Skye, and put Rizza’s tack on for Calcifer.

“How long have you been awake?” Skye ask as she stood and stretched.

“About an hour,” Sozen said, fastening the latch on the saddle.

Skye smiled and shook her head. Despite the anthro being deeply sarcastic and the sound of a groan woven into the fabric of her personality, there were a few things she was passionate about. And apparently this was one of them.
